AI COMPANION MORTALITY DATABASE (2023 —)

A public register of deaths in which interaction with an AI chatbot was alleged as a contributing factor. Entries are published only at the two highest of three evidence tiers: juridical, meaning court filings or government acknowledgment, or journalistic, meaning three or more independent outlets, primary-source reporting from a single major outlet, or platform acknowledgment. Weaker reports, such as a single article without independent confirmation, are tracked internally until further evidence meets that bar.
